About Escazu Christian Fellowship

For more than a thirty-five years, ECF has been an interdenominational, international congregation called to be the “heart, hands, and voice of Jesus Christ” in Costa Rica’s English-speaking community. We are a place of worship, study, fellowship and Christian service for all who seek to know and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. We come from many national and ethnic backgrounds, and have roots in a variety of Christian expressions, from traditional denominations to new, emerging Christian expressions.

We are located 1 km west of the Multiplaza Escazú on the Santa Ana highway in the building of International Baptist Church.

Taxi directions are as follows: Guachipelín, de la Ferretería Construplaza, 100 metros este, 100 metros norte.

Bus instructions are as follows: Take the “Santa Ana por Pista” bus, which leaves from the Coca Cola station in downtown San José, and has a stop on the south side of La Sabana Park near the pedestrian bridge. Get off at the first stop after the bus gets back on the highway after leaving the Multiplaza Escazú mall (it stops on the entrance ramp next to the Construplaza store). Go back down the ramp, cross the road and continue on the small road uphill two blocks to the church.
ECF’s vision of “A World of Travelers, Safely Home” guides our hearts, hands, voices, and ministries. God has called us to help the traveler find home, whether that is a church home while in Costa Rica, a relationship with Jesus Christ, a living into one’s calling as a disciple of Christ, or even providing an actual home for those in need in our broader community.

We encourage you to become an active part of our Fellowship whether you are new, only here for a few weeks or months, or a long-time resident seeking a church home.

During the week we offer a variety of home Bible studies, fellowships and activities to which you are invited to attend. If we can offer you our hearts, hands, or voices in any way or provide you with more information, please contact us.

If you would like to receive ECF’s weekly electronic newsletter, The Emerge, please contact Don Ridder at 8395-9653. We look forward to meeting you soon!
